Tortilla Fires Up a Winter Feast With Bold New Flavours and a Decadent Dessert Quesadilla

Tortilla Dessert Quesasilla

Tortilla isn’t messing about this winter. The UK’s most-loved Mexican chain has rolled out a Winter Edit built for cold nights, hungry crowds and anyone who thinks comfort food should arrive with a little swagger. Tortilla has packed this seasonal menu with smoky heat, festive sweetness and a couple of curveballs that demand attention.

The spotlight falls squarely on the Humble Adobo Burrito, a set recipe built around the brand’s latest flavour bomb: BBQ Adobo Chicken. Roasted, lacquered in a sweet-smoky adobo marinade and nudged with chipotle warmth, it’s the kind of filling that makes you forget the weather’s turned foul.

Dig a little deeper and the new lineup gets even more indulgent. The Thiccc Sauce Chilli Cacao Mayo brings a sinful mix of chipotle, chocolate and cinnamon — creamy, fiery and engineered to punch up anything it touches. Then there are the Fermented Purple Carrots, bright, crunchy and sharp enough to wake up any winter-weary palate.

But the true headline-stealer? A Dessert Quesadilla that feels like Tortilla has gone full festive rebel. Dulce de leche, cream cheese and banana melted between a flour tortilla, dusted with icing sugar and served gooey enough to make you forget every sensible decision you’ve ever made. It’s unashamedly indulgent — and destined to be the fan favourite.

The drinks menu gets its own seasonal makeover with a Spiced Apple Margarita, a crisp tequila cocktail wrapped in cosy apple notes and finished with a Tajin kick. It’s the sort of drink that pairs with everything and excuses nothing.

James Garland, Director of Food at Tortilla, said: “This menu is everything people love about winter comfort food, but with a Tortilla twist. It’s rich, warming and just a little indulgent, the perfect combination for the season. The Dessert Quesadilla is the star of the show, but every new addition brings something unique and seriously delicious.”

True to form, everything at Tortilla is still made fresh to order in under 90 seconds, with ingredients prepped daily and dishes fully customisable — whether you want a monster burrito, a lighter salad bowl or a post-gym protein fix.

And if you needed one more reason to drop by, Burrito Society loyalty members can snap up the new Dessert Quesadilla for just £2 with any main from Tuesday 18 to Sunday 30 November. It’s normally £3.50 in store and £3.95 on delivery.

Existing members get the perk automatically, and newcomers can jump in and claim it instantly during the offer window. It’s a single-use reward and can’t be combined with other deals — and there’s no loyalty stamp, because the perk does the work.

If winter needed a wake-up call, Tortilla just delivered it.
